The program aim is to train and prepare participants to work with national ports authority or private clearing agencies as cargo, storage, and warehouse handlers, clearing agents, shipping and port agents, customs officers, and related areas. The course covers classroom lectures, self-home studies, research, quizzes, tests, exams, interviews under the following modules:
Features
- The course is designed for two semesters, a total of forty-two (42) weeks. It is held in classroom on every Saturday and runs for two and half (2.5) hours per week, making a total of 105 hours duration. This duration does not include out of class mandatory research, group work and assignments.
Target audiences
- This course targets private clearing agencies, storage, and warehouse handlers, clearing agents, shipping and port agents, customs officers and other professionals involved with port operations. The course also targets students/participants who want to take up career in clearing and forwarding.
