This course provides participants with a core foundation of the supply chain and Procurement Management discipline now and into the future. The course enables participants learn about how to set up a supply chain and procurement system and operate them for maximum efficiency at their various workplaces. Features
- The course is designed for two semesters, a total of forty-two (42) weeks. It is held in classroom on every Saturday and runs for two and half (2.5) hours per week, making a total of 105 hours duration. This duration does not include out of class mandatory research, group work and assignments.
- Upon completing this course students/participants are well acknowledgeable and ready to apply the: Components of a supply chain, and the resources and planning involved in managing a supply chain Importance of forecasting, planning, and scheduling Usage of software systems to make supply chain decisions and improve processes
Target audiences
- The course is designed to produce journalists in modern society who are expected to operate effectively in the global communications environment in both print and electronic media. It also targets recent college graduates wanting to pursue career in Journalism.
